A reflection on emotion, lasting sound, and the art of triggering memory
There are tracks that linger. Not as catchy earworms, but as slow-burning melodies that create something much more powerful: an image behind your closed eyes. A feeling in your chest. A place that feels familiar, even if you’ve never really been there.
That’s the kind of music I want to make.
It begins with a spark – but grows into something deeper
Sometimes, a track starts with a small idea. A few chords. A texture. Something that gives me the sense it might become something special.
But it only gets real when I begin to feel something myself – when I broaden the pads, let the atmosphere grow, and suddenly it’s not just a song anymore… it becomes emotion.
I don’t assume every idea will become something
And that’s okay. Some sketches are playful, some stay unfinished. But the ones that move me – they always show it early. There’s a point in every session where I feel: I’ve just made the track better. That’s when I know I’m going in the right direction.

My tools: analog and digital, emotional and intuitive
I work with my Moog Subsequent 37, but also with sounds from inside my DAW. I let inspiration guide me – and often, what influences me today won’t be the same tomorrow. What matters to me is that my music doesn’t feel like a copy of something that’s already out there.
I don’t want to sound like a trend
Trends come and go. I remember when Bennie Benassi’s Satisfaction exploded – suddenly, a hundred tracks sounded like it. But only his stayed. The others faded. That taught me something:
I’d rather make something that doesn’t perform instantly but lasts.
That might not scream for attention now, but still feels real five years from now.
What I wish for you, when you listen
If you're listening to one of my tracks late at night, with your headphones on…
I hope it paints pictures in your mind.
I hope it connects you to something emotional – a beautiful memory, maybe.
And I hope that whatever you feel in your chest or your belly in that moment... it stays. Even after the last note fades.
🔦 Let the music lead you inward – not for the moment, but for what remains after.
🖤 I don’t write songs to please. I write them to be honest – so that you might find a piece of yourself in them.
